About the Position:

We are looking for a high-energy and fun entry-level or experienced BCBA that wants to grow with us, whether you are interested in a full-time position or in working a few days a week! As a BCBA working at The Children’s TLC, you will:

  • Conduct behavior assessments.
  • Write individualized treatment plans and goals.
  • Collect, interpret, and analyze data.
  • Create various behavior plans.
  • Provide quality, 1:1 play-based behavior intervention to children or adolescents using techniques from the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Complete detailed daily documentation throughout therapy sessions.
  • Analyze and evaluate progress or regression towards goals and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
  • Work closely with families, physicians, therapists, and other related professionals such as teachers to ensure the success of your clients.
  • Provide family training as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings and attend required trainings.
  • Supervise Intervention Specialists and Professionals to further ensure high-quality care, carry-over, and the effectiveness of each client’s treatment plan.
  • Support client’s behavioral needs in a variety of settings such as the home, school, or in the community.
  • Possibly transport clients.
  • Through evidenced-based practice, you’ll use naturalistic teaching opportunities that are child-led, engaging, and motivating to capitalize on each child's preferred interests, as well as apply research-based, science-driven tools and strategies to help your clients learn, grow, and thrive—all while improving their self-esteem and overall independence.

As a member of our growing team of therapy professionals, you’ll have full-time access to our state-of-the art sensory gym, individual therapy rooms, therapeutic kitchen, and outdoor play area.

Experience:

  • Entry-Level BCBAs are welcome to apply.
  • At least 2-years’ experience working with children with special needs is required.

Education:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or have a related discipline with 1,500 hours of relevant coursework or training.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must hold a current BCBA certification and be in good standing.
  • Must provide validation of CPR and First Aid certification. (We can certify if needed.)
  • Must pass a background check with the Idaho Background Check Unit.
  • Must have a valid Idaho driver’s license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.

The Children’s TLC is an upbeat, positive, and skilled multidisciplinary team of Occupational, Speech, ABA Therapists, and a Nutrition Consultant that are committed to delivering high quality comprehensive therapeutic care that is personalized, compassionate, and respectful of the children we treat.

The Children's TLC provides therapeutic care for children from birth to 21 years of age. With quality care at the center of everything we do, we stay abreast of the latest research and we are continually looking for innovative ways to improve therapeutic outcomes and experiences for the children we treat.
