Videography Intern

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Videography Intern to help capture and edit engaging visuals for our marketing campaigns, social media channels, and special projects. This internship is ideal for a college student or recent graduate looking to gain real-world experience in professional video production while building a strong portfolio.
What You’ll Do

Assist in planning and filming high-quality content for events, social media, and client marketing projects.

Help set up and break down equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.

Support the creative team with storyboarding, shot lists, and on-location shoots.

Organize and label raw footage for the editing team; assist with basic edits when needed.

Capture behind-the-scenes content and help maintain a consistent visual style across platforms.

Learn current trends in videography and apply them to keep our content fresh and engaging.
What You’ll Learn & Gain

Hands-on experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.

Techniques for multi-camera shooting, framing, composition, and sound mixing.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college/university program in film, media, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Basic knowledge of camera operations, lighting, and audio equipment.

Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar is a plus.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
Internship Details

Schedule: Approximately 10–15 hours per week; flexible around class schedules.

Location: Hybrid—remote tasks plus in-person shoots in Gardena, CA (occasional evenings/weekends for events).

Compensation: Paid internship (stipend/hourly rate based on experience).
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and use hands or fingers to handle objects.

The employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is generally low to moderate.

Remote/Hybrid work environment with some office presence in Gardena, CA.

Part-time contracted position (minimum of 10-15 hours per week).
