Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and clients to gather business requirements, analyze financial workflows, and support the development and enhancement of our data and OMS products. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of finance and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with internal teams and clients to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for data warehouse and OMS solutions.
  • Assist in mapping front-to-back-office workflows across trading, compliance, risk, and reporting functions.
  • Translate complex business processes into clear functional specifications for development.
  • Support QA and user acceptance testing (UAT) by writing test cases and validating features against requirements.
  • Conduct data analysis and reconciliation using SQL, Excel, or BI tools to identify trends or anomalies.
  • Help maintain product documentation and user guides.
  • Provide support to clients during onboarding and post-deployment phases.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and regulatory developments relevant to hedge funds and financial technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and trading workflows is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data analysis tools is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Internship or academic experience in financial services, fintech, or data analytics.
  • Exposure to OMS, EMS, or portfolio management systems.
  • Interest in hedge funds, asset management, and investment operations.
