Operations Manager
Pay: $15.00 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to help oversee our creative arts non profit's daily operations and ensure smooth functioning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Director, implementing operational best practices, and driving business growth. The job is 30-40 hours a week with one remote day. Responsibilities:
- Improve and develop operational management systems, processes, best practices, and strategic goals
- Purchase materials, plan inventory, and oversee warehouse efficiency
- Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
- Defining, implementing, and revising operational policies and guidelines for the organization
- Onboarding- recruit and hire competent personnel, oversee and analyze employee training programs, set up new staff on computer etc.
- Manage the maintenance of the physical facilities and related 3rd party vendors.
- Maintain an orderly and professional office environment that is welcoming and highly functional.
- Completing and assigning errands and office tasks
- Community outreach
- Scheduling staff and volunteers for teaching and events.
- Manage and resolve basic office functions such as tech support
- Help fill in where needed
Skills:
- Addressing operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer satisfaction
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities
- Ability to communicate with others effectively
- Ability to conduct research for special projects, respond to timely inquiries, and present written/ oral briefings
- Ability to work with details and time-sensitive issues
- Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations.
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in program management, business or public administration, technical management, information systems, engineering, finance/accounting, or related fields preferred
- Interest in making a difference in underserved communities
- Teaching experience a plus
- Arts, music, gaming, and tech knowledge a plus
