Project Manager of Strategic Initiatives
Salary Range:
$50,000.00 - $59,500.00 USD annually.

The Project Manager of Strategic Initiatives works closely and collaboratively with stakeholders to plan, direct, organize, and execute against project requirements for ASU Preparatory Academy; identify and acquire necessary resources and coordinate efforts by all parties to ensure timely delivery of quality project outcomes in accordance with expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or related field, required
0-2 years of agile project management or related experience required
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously required
Experience with project management in education is highly preferred, but not required.
PMP, SCRUM Master certification, Agile Project Management certification or an equivalent PM certification is strongly preferred
Digital curriculum course development highly preferred
Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, develop, implement, and manage a project team through complete task definitions and work requirement identification and assignments.
Work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders to define project scope, strategy, budget, and outcomes; identify critical resource expertise and target appropriate internal and/or external sources to ensure optimal outcome(s).
Establish and continually manage project expectations through consistent monitoring to mitigate project risk; assign tasks and identify issues for resolution to ensure optimal team effectiveness.
Prepare and maintain all project status reports and schedules; track milestones and deliverables, critical paths and dependencies; reassess expectations as needed in consideration of project progress and outcomes.
Respond to all inquiries regarding project status; prepare and respond to all regulatory reporting and filings to ensure compliance.
Manage, coach, and supervise all project team members, both internal and contracted to ensure optimal outcomes; builds, develops, and maintains relationships vital to project success.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders, leadership, and other related staff to define and identify all required project infrastructure including, but not limited to: space, build/reconfiguration of facilities, equipment, technology and infrastructure to ensure timely availability for successful launch and ongoing project operations.
Plan and determine resource needs for successful completion of projects.
Prepare all post-project reports, budget allocations and summaries and filings to ensure timely dissemination of information to all interested parties.
Help manage the appropriate Department Manager's schedule, calendar, and deadlines according to project deliverables and milestones along with supporting other related scheduling.
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Knowledge of K-12 school setting.
Demonstrated knowledge of multiple project management methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, waterfall, etc).
Demonstrated knowledge of standard project management and change management practices.
Demonstrated ability to identify risks and issues and act to mitigate conflict.
Demonstrated knowledge and abilities with industry standard project management software (Asana, Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc).

Occasional travel may be required for site visits, meetings, trainings and/or conferences. Locations may vary and may require overnight stays.
