Superintendent Apprentice

The Superintendent Apprentice position is structured for you to continue to grow within the construction industry, broadening your skills and maximizing your leadership abilities. The intent of this position is to enhance your field knowledge, increase your comfort level with leading a crew, and running an overall job site. Our average apprentice will be in this role for 6-12 months before running their own project.

The Superintendent Apprentice will work side by side with an experienced Superintendent gaining knowledge of daily field leadership operations. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Management of subcontractors

Communication with inspectors and owners

Coordination with Project Manager

Providing problem resolution in construction activities

Determining and carrying out project schedules

Integrating submittal information for project coordination

Leading job site safety meetings

Interpreting blueprints and contract specifications for field use

Ordering job site materials

Managing Field Crews
