Administrative Intern

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Administrative Intern to support our Eagle River, WI office during the busy tax season. This internship runs January through April 2026, with flexible scheduling available between 20–40 hours per week based on your availability.

 

This is a valuable opportunity for students—particularly those pursuing a degree in accounting or business administration—to gain hands-on experience in a professional, client-focused environment.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support the preparation and assembly of individual and business tax returns using tools such as GoFileRoom
  • Organize and manage client tax documents (e.g., W-2s, 1099s, K-1s) via portals, mail, drop-offs, and Safesend
  • Upload and track documents in tax software (e.g., SurePrep) and project systems (e.g., FirmFlow)
  • Communicate with clients regarding e-filing, document collection, appointment scheduling, and payment processing
  • Assist in drafting business engagement letters and handling administrative tasks for business clients
  • Use office equipment (e.g., scanners, pressure sealers) and software (Outlook, Teams, Adobe, MS Office)
  • Help with accounts receivable collections and processing online payments
  • Contribute to special projects and administrative support tasks as assigned

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business, or related field (preferred, not required)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive documents
  • Basic understanding of tax processes (training provided)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Adobe)
