Manufacturing Production Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Production Manager with an MBA background to lead and optimize production operations. This role is ideal for professionals who combine business management skills with high-tech manufacturing or operations knowledge. The Production Manager will ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production while aligning manufacturing strategy with overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Operations Management

Develop and implement production strategies aligned with company objectives.

Analyze operational data to drive cost savings, efficiency, and throughput improvements.

Vendor management - onboarding and relationship management.

Partner with supply chain, procurement, and finance to optimize end-to-end operations.

Production Planning & Scheduling

Oversee production schedules, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet demand.

Anticipate and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions or workforce constraints.

Introduce KPIs and dashboards to track productivity, yield, and delivery performance.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives to improve workflow efficiency.

Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization (Industry 4.0).

Lead cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.

Quality, Compliance & Safety

Ensure production complies with quality standards, certifications , and safety regulations.

Collaborate with QA/QC teams on corrective and preventive action plans.

Promote a culture of safety-first and zero-defect manufacturing.

Team Leadership & People Development

Lead and motivate production supervisors, engineers, and operators.

Drive a performance-based culture with clear goals and accountability.

Provide training and professional development opportunities to upskill the workforce.

Qualifications

MBA in Operations, Supply Chain, General Management, or related field.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or equivalent preferred.

1-5 Years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or production management.

Strong skills in strategic planning, cost management, and leadership.

Familiarity with ERP systems, Lean manufacturing, and supply chain management.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

Six Sigma or Lean certification.

Experience in electronics, precision engineering, automotive, or consumer hardware industries.

Exposure to automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 digital tools.
