Field Technician – AV/IT Sales Support

📍 Carlisle, PA | ✈️ Travel Required | Full-Time Entry-Level

We’re looking for a Field Technician who is eager to learn, enjoys hands-on work, and wants to launch a career in technology with exposure to real-world projects, travel, and direct customer engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Travel to customer locations across North America to support:
  • System installation and commissioning
  • Customer training and product education
  • Troubleshooting and technical support
  • Provide remote support via phone, email, and help desk (Zoho Desk)
  • Assist Sales with product demos, Q&A, and customer support
  • Work with Engineering to test products, document findings, and maintain demo equipment
  • Follow site safety protocols and complete trip reports

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate’s degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related STEM field; OR 2+ years of equivalent technical experience
  • Strong interest in AV/IT, networking, or related technical fields
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel (sometimes on short notice)
  • Valid driver’s license; passport or ability to obtain

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • AV/IT background (RF/IP systems, cabling, networking)
  • CompTIA or AVIXA CTS certifications
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN/VLAN, fiber optics, or RF test equipment
