Chemical Research/Engineering Intern

As a Chemical Engineering Intern in R&D you will work side by side with other engineering professionals and leadership by participating in hands on activities such as sampling, analysis, troubleshooting, and process improvements as well as being responsible for documentation and various initiatives.

 

Your Day to Day:

  • Work under supervision of senior scientists.
  • Synthesize and evaluate chemical and physical properties of polymers including pH, kinetic studies, and manufacturing.
  • Physical testing of composites and thermal analysis.
  • Documentation and record keeping.

 

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
  • Upcoming senior or recent undergraduate that is pursuing further education. 
  • Ability to start full time in May 2026 and work until August 2026.
  • Emphasis on organic, physical or analytical chemistry.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with several scientists on various projects.
  • Ability to coordinate and work with cross functional groups including Analytical, Business and Sourcing Groups.
