Junior Data Scientist

This role is responsible for developing data-driven solutions and AI systems. Will support innovation and take part in the full stack development lifecycle, from exploration and modeling to production integration. 

 

Please note that this is an on-site position based in Riverview, FL. 

 

What does a typical day look like?

  • Aid in the design of deep learning pricing algorithms
  • Analyze pricing strategy, strategic portfolios, and risk by combining business acumen and analytics skills.
  • Collaborates with the analytics team to improve existing models, and create new data driven solutions
  • Aid in the development of LLM powered agents
  • Identify trends in consumer behavior 
  • Help drive innovation and R&D
  • Assists in ETL and data migration processes 
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance
  • Provides proactive analysis and subsequent recommendations identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Create ad-hoc analyses that help drive business strategy and improve efficiency
  • Gather, organize and make sense of disparate data sets
  • Prepare high quality analysis, communications and presentations. Presents results in a clear and compelling way to stakeholders

 

What are we seeking?

  • Intermediate knowledge of Python
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL databases
  • Self-driven and creative; Comfortable in a project-based environment
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and data manipulation skills are required
  • Experience applying data science in school projects or the professionally
  • Minimum of 1-5 years of work or educational experience creating and using machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenarios, modeling, decision trees, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of neural networks
  • Basic knowledge of large language models
  • Knowledge of consumer behavior algorithms is a plus (Customer LTV, Personas)
  • C# and Go are a plus, but not required
