Technology Associate - Technical Analyst
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Wellington Management is seeking individuals to be part of the global early career program in the Technology function. As an Associate, you will develop the foundation to become successful in a career in financial technology.
We expect new entrants to join the Technology Associate Program in July 2026. During your first two weeks with us, you will participate in our Base Camp Development Program. This program is designed to equip you with new skills and knowledge of our clients, industry, firm, and culture while developing a strong internal network. By investing in your personal growth on day one, you will help us continue to exceed our client’s expectations. After the two weeks, Associates will receive training and skill building opportunities to develop expertise in the technology that drives asset management.
PROGRAM ROLES
The Technology group's mission is to drive Wellington’s innovation and operational edge to exceed the investment and service expectations for our clients and business partners worldwide. We accomplish this by bringing technology and operations together to deliver better, more efficient outcomes.
As an Associate within this group, you will gain insight into our industry, firm, and culture, as well as knowledge of the many different areas of the firm that contribute to the servicing of our client portfolios. Associates will have exposure to groups across the firm globally, including Trading, Portfolio Management, Legal and Compliance, and the Client Group. Throughout the entire program, you will develop a variety of skills and help to achieve our goal of exceeding client expectations.
We have a diverse slate of roles available on our technology teams. Analyst roles may include:
- Engaging with business users to assess needs, understand workflows, and propose solutions
- Creating functional specifications and user requirement documents that outline enhancements, defect fixes, and integrate with existing system architecture
- Partnering with development teams to build solutions and participate in testing efforts
- Leading and support cross-functional projects, both large and small
- Providing each of Wellington’s investment teams with the data, controls, and support they need to ensure that their investment intent is accurately reflected in accordance with client regulatory and operational requirements
- Providing investment teams with the appropriate controls and support to ensure investments are made in accordance with the client’s investment guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Supporting the operational and client services functions

QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduates graduating with a bachelor’s degree between Fall 2025 – Summer 2026
- Demonstrated interest in business, technology, and the investment management industry (all majors and backgrounds welcome to apply)
- Strong academic performance
- Proven leadership experience and participation in community service and extracurricular activities
- Experience or coursework in at least one of the following areas:
- Business decision making, including critically analyzing business processes and using technical skills to propose solutions and enhancements
- Systems analysis, including requirements gathering, user stories, and test planning
- Technology, including design patterns, programming languages, and constructs
- Data wrangling, analysis, and visualization

- Unofficial transcript (Condensed to as few pages as possible, please don’t send >5 pages. Grades for all semesters must be present, including up to Spring/Summer 2025. Fall 2025 classes in progress are not required but encouraged.)

Interviews
Candidates will be notified on an on-going basis, but mainly in the weeks after the application deadline. If chosen, the First Round will consist of a video interview with a campus recruiter and the program manager. Then, Final Round interviews will take place via video with multiple hiring managers.
The start date for the program is July 2026.
