Training & Development Intern

At EMC, we power progress. From industrial electrical products to custom motor controls, we help businesses across the country keep their operations running strong. Our eCommerce & Marketing team is growing, and we’re looking for a creative and motivated Training & Development Intern to help us share knowledge, create resources, and make learning fun for both our customers and our team.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and organize training content for customers and internal teams (such as how-to guides, short videos, presentations, and FAQs).
  • Support eCommerce product training so customers know how to find, use, and get the most out of what we sell.
  • Assist with marketing-driven learning campaigns including product spotlights, tutorials, and online learning tools.
  • Help design engaging learning materials using PowerPoint, Canva, or other creative tools.
  • Collect feedback and analytics on training content to see what is working and where we can improve.
  • Collaborate with our marketing and eCommerce specialists on projects that blend content, training, and customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • A student studying Marketing, Business, Communications, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to explain things clearly and simply.
  • Creative eye for design and detail (experience with Canva, Adobe, or video editing is a plus).
  • Organized and self-motivated with a willingness to learn new tools and skills.
  • Interest in eCommerce, digital learning, and customer education.

Internship Details

  • Duration: TBD
  • Hours: Full-time but would consider Part-time for highly qualified candidates
  • Compensation: $18 - $22 per hour DOE
