Associate Preschool Teacher

JOB POSTING NOTICE 

Job Title:                                        Associate Teacher

Department:                                West Hollywood Preschool

Locations:                                     West Hollywood Preschool 

Primary Duties:                           Assist in planning, implementing, and facilitating a 

                                                          developmentally appropriate, full-inclusion program for            young children. 

Work Schedule:                          Full-time and part-time schedules available

Salary:                                            $22.00/hour

                                                          Plus Comprehensive Benefits Package

                                                                In addition, a BONUS of $500, after 4 months of                       employment.

Start Date:                                    Immediately

Requirements:             

12 units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.

One year of experience working with young children in a childcare setting.

Knowledge of child development theory and experience with developmentally appropriate practices.

Experience working with children having disabilities and/or special needs.

Hold an associate teacher permit issued by the California Commission for Teacher Credentialing.

Additional Requirements:

Fingerprint clearance/Department of Justice ID#, current health report including negative TB test, proof of required immunizations per CCL (these items are required before classroom assignment).
