Inventory Control Intern

Join our team as an Inventory Control Intern for Summer 2026!

 

The Role:

The Inventory Control internship includes a single project that aligns with departmental annual goal objectives as well as completing daily job functions.  This internship allows students to experience daily, tactical Inventory Control responsibilities while also contributing to the company with a value-add project.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Complete one project based on department annual goal objectives
  • Ensure efficient flow of material to meet the production schedule
  • Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels
  • Plan, analyze, and manage inventory to prevent shortages or excesses
  • Identify and manage risks to minimize impact to our customers

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or similar field
  • Proficient with MS Office applications and highly talented in Excel

 

What Sets You Apart:

  • Experience with production planning systems, MRP, Kanban, and Just-In-Time inventory techniques is preferred
  • Ability to adapt easily to change and work in a fast-paced environment, acting with sense of urgency
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges

 

Where and When You’ll Work:

  • This is an in-person role located at our Columbus, IN office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

 

What You’ll Get in Return:

 

Wage - $22.00 - $26.00 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
