Accounting Associate

Partner Fund Services provides accounting and fund administration services to investment and business entities, principally in the real estate sector. We manage over $1.8 Billion of investors’ capital and support a diverse range of clients. Our major client is a SEC-registered investment advisor that advises on real estate related private funds and debt funds.

 

We are looking for a full-time Accounting Associate to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing accounting and administrative duties. You will support our business growth and accounting department by processing invoices, transactions, and expenses as well as updating our accounting database. This position will give you the opportunity to grow your accounting knowledge and experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Set up ACH payments to pay vendors and coordinate request of w9 and bank information
  • Verbally call to confirm wire and ACH instructions as needed 
  • Set up wires to fund investments
  • Record bank activities in general ledger
  • Reconcile bank accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Organize and maintain financial records, including invoices, payment confirmations and supporting documentation, in an organized and accessible manner.
  • Input financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets, including invoices, deposits, and other financial related information.
  • Assist and prepare Information Reporting (Form 1099, State nonresident withholding, Statement of Information)
  • Assist and prepare document support to external auditors and tax preparers. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or working Bachelors Degree in Accounting is preferred at least Junior/Senior standing
  • Experience in an accounting assistant or bookkeeping role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Tools
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Strong planning and organization skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
  • Position located in Pasadena, CA (this is not a remote position)
