Hotel Reservation Associate
Job Summary
Handle all hotel reservation related tasks after the marketing team finalizes the initial set up. Reporting to Assistant Manager, you will be assisting all hotel reservation related tasks.
Being a contact person for any ad hoc issues raised by customers closely working with hotel sales reps. Monitor and guide Manila team (third vendor) for accuracy for their work. Make sure Hawaii HIS can provide the best experience as possible for our customers.
Essential Duties
- Be a point of contact for hotel reservation related inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders
- Meke sure the hotel related reservations are made accurately based on Japan side requests
- Monitor and guide our third vendor(manila) work are done correctly
- Maintain the hotel related contents in our internal system and make sure they are up to date, add more inventories when necessary which involves negotiation with hotels
- Solve ad hoc issues raises from customers, closely working with hotel sales rep.
- Assist contract renewals and update various databases accordingly
- Based on what's written in the contracts, request to third party ( manila side) or hotels for their renewals and updates.
- Maintenance of internal systems for hotel related contents (HOPS, Challenge, Vacation)
- Have a keen eye for any improvements and prose the procedure to the supervisors.
- Other duties company assigns.

Qualifications
- Fluent in writing, reading and speaking Japanese in business manner.
- Intermediate English ability (Speak, read, write)
- Computer literacy

- Ability to lift upto 25lb.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, early mornings.
- Ability to stand for extended period of time,
- Dressed professionally and neatly at all times
- Experience in hospitality industry is a plus
- A customer-oriented and professional attitude
- Diploma or BSc/BA in Hospitality Management is preferred
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
Working Conditions:
- Air Conditioned Office
- Hybrid work (When deem appropriate)
- Shifts schedule, including Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
- At least one day of the weekends is necessary.
