Facilities Program Management Intern

We are seeking an Intern to join our Facilities Program Management team. This role combines exposure to facilities projects with hands-on involvement in materials operations, providing a unique opportunity to learn program management in a technical environment. The position is designed for someone interested in both project-level coordination (scheduling, budgets, organization) and the tactical execution of facilities and materials workflows.
Responsibilities
Facilities Support

Assist with facilities projects of varying scale, including construction, equipment installation/commissioning, and laboratory operations/maintenance

Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and budget tracking

Support stakeholder coordination, documentation, and meeting follow-ups

Materials Support

Support the intake and documentation of new materials, ensuring accurate logging, tracking, and preparation for use in development activities

Maintain a current digital inventory of materials, aligning availability with build needs and updating records as items are consumed

Organize and administer materials storage and inventory systems, keeping storage orderly, compliant, and scalable as requirements grow

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program (engineering, science, business, or related field) OR a recent graduate seeking internship experience

Interest in program/project management with exposure to facilities and operations

Highly proficient with spreadsheets; database experience preferred

Ability to design systems from scratch and apply systems thinking to workflows

Strong organizational and communication skills

Comfortable working hands-on with both administrative systems and physical inventory

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, technical environment
