Manager of Operations (East Operations Center – Titus, AL)

As the Manager of Operations at our East Operations Center in Titus, AL, you'll be at the forefront of keeping our electric systems reliable and our teams empowered. What We're Looking For:

We're looking for a service-driven, field-tested leader with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Utility Operations, or related field (Equivalent experience may substitute for education)
  • 7+ years of experience in electric distribution operations, construction, or maintenance
  • Knowledge of RUS, NESC, and OSHA standards
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to safety and the ability to build strong relationships

What You'll Do:

This isn't just about keeping the lights on - it's about leading people and building trust. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and support crews in the construction, maintenance, and repair of power and fiber lines, while ensuring the safe operation of vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Collaborate with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders to support projects and operations
  • Promote awareness of and support for CAEC's objectives, plans, and programs
  • Positively represent CAEC in the community and help resolve member and customer concerns
