NDLON is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Communications Intern to support our work. This is an ideal opportunity for a student or early-career professional with an interest in community organizing, digital media, and social justice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with content creation using Canva and other basic design tools
  • Support social media scheduling and drafting basic posts
  • Conduct media and influencer research for outreach and campaign amplification
  • Track and analyze social media and media coverage metrics
  • Conduct research and analysis for current campaigns and messaging
  • Assist with drafting short-form written content, including captions, blog posts, and campaign blurbs
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design platforms
  • Strong research and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, TikTok)
  • Clear and concise writing skills
  • Interest in immigrant justice, labor rights, and grassroots work
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required
