Communications Intern
NDLON is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Communications Intern to support our work. This is an ideal opportunity for a student or early-career professional with an interest in community organizing, digital media, and social justice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with content creation using Canva and other basic design tools
- Support social media scheduling and drafting basic posts
- Conduct media and influencer research for outreach and campaign amplification
- Track and analyze social media and media coverage metrics
- Conduct research and analysis for current campaigns and messaging
- Assist with drafting short-form written content, including captions, blog posts, and campaign blurbs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design platforms
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, TikTok)
- Clear and concise writing skills
- Interest in immigrant justice, labor rights, and grassroots work
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required
