
Intern - Marketing Communications
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Head of Marketing Communications, the Marketing Communications Intern is responsible for assisting the team members in the Marketing Communications (MarCom) and Product Marketing departments with research, information gathering, project management, data input, file management, communications, event logistics and special projects. This position will provide exposure to a wide range of essential marketing roles and activities.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with competitive research and information gathering
- Assist with product and marketing sample program
- Assisting with external and internal writing/editing assignments
- Organize and archive marketing collateral, utilizing content management system(s)
- Assist with tradeshow execution and logistics
- Assist Distributor Marketing Manager with invoicing, reporting and communications
- Assist with project management of select MarCom projects
- Assist, edit and/or write press releases and newsletters
- Assist with maintaining social media calendar and post execution on multiple channels
- Assist with external media coverage monitoring and archival
- Create and update media lists and distribute relevant material to selected media outlets
- Coordinate and post content on company Marketing Intranet site
- Assist marketing staff with any other projects, as needed
Qualifications:
- Must be active in pursuing an undergraduate degree.
- Experience in related marketing field is a plus.
- Microsoft Office skills, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PPT
