The ITW Food Equipment Group has brands that are found in commercial kitchens, bakeries, delis and groceries around the world—providing commercial food equipment to cover every need, from food preparation and refrigeration to cooking and baking to dishwashing and waste disposal to weighing, labeling and wrapping.
The Warewash Business Division produces Hobart brand commercial dishwashers that are used in hotels, casinos, restaurants, health care, schools and universities, cruise ships, and retail. Reporting to the Product/Segment Manager, the Marketing Intern will help support the marketing department on various projects. The assignment will provide hands-on exposure to day-to-day operations, as well as to serve as a developmental opportunity to increase their knowledge and experience in marketing.
We are in search of students that are in their junior or senior year of college seeking a bachelor’s degree in marketing or business and that are able to handle multiple work assignments concurrently and that also have effective oral, written communications along with adequate presentation skills.
What you will be doing:
• Learn and understand product lines and markets
• Gather and organize marketing information
• Assist with market/customer research activities
The minimum qualifications are:
• Classwork toward a bachelor’s degree in marketing or business
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with HTML and desktop publishing applications
• Ability to work in a professional office environment
