Assurance Intern

The Pun Group, LLP is seeking Assurance Interns to join our fast-growing well-established regional firm.

Role

You will be involved with all aspects of the assurance practice and the day-to-day activities of various engagements. You will apply learned procedures to perform audits or reviews of client’s financial statements.

Compensation

Compensation is $30 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the rules, regulations and Code of Professional Conduct of the AICPA and various government auditing pronouncements.
  • Participate and provide input in planning meetings to determine audit risks and develop testing plans.
  • Accurately document audit procedures performed.
  • Learn to effectively communicate with clients to receive information necessary to complete engagements.
  • Continually advance technical knowledge and working knowledge of GAAP, GAAS and other relevant professional standards.
  • Participate in Continuing Education (CPE) skills training and leadership development course work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in accounting in progress.
  • 0 – 2 years of relevant experience.
