Position Summary
The Pre-Law Legal Intern will gain firsthand experience in the daily operations of a personal injury law firm. This role is designed for undergraduate students considering law school who want practical exposure to legal processes, case management, and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain case files, including medical records and client documentation.
- Assist with intake interviews and client communication (under staff supervision).
- Prepare summaries and case notes for attorney review.
- Conduct basic factual research related to accidents, insurance, and damages.
- Support attorneys and paralegals with administrative and legal tasks.
- Participate in firm events and observe legal proceedings when possible.
Qualifications
- Current undergraduate student (sophomore, junior, or senior) with an interest in law.
- Strong organizational and writing skills.
- Professional communication and confidentiality skills.
- Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Commitment
- Duration: Semester or summer
- Commitment: Part-time, 10–15 hours/week (flexible around class schedules) or Full-time in the summer, 35-40 hours
- Compensation: Paid internship (hourly)
