Technology Solutions Intern – Data, Analytics, AI & Product Development 

As a Technology Solutions Intern at Pioneer Management Consulting, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, collaborative environment where we design and deliver modern technology solutions for clients and internal teams. From day one, you will work alongside our consultants and technologists to explore business challenges and bring them to life through data, analytics, AI, and application development. You will sharpen your technical skills, apply your creativity, and receive strong mentorship and career development support as you help us shape the future of consulting delivery.   

While each day and project may differ, you can expect to work on projects such as: 

Designing and building Power BI dashboards that turn raw data into actionable insights 

Developing Power Apps and low-code/no-code solutions to streamline business processes 

Supporting data engineering activities (data pipelines, migrations, integrations) to enable analytics and AI initiatives 

Prototyping AI agents and intelligent assistants that solve real-world client and internal business problems 

Collaborating on application development projects using modern frameworks (including vibe-coded and custom apps) 

Translating business objectives into technology requirements and solution designs 

Creating impactful deliverables such as visualizations, prototypes, presentations, and solution demos 

Working with cross-functional teams across consulting practices to integrate technology into business transformation initiatives 

Qualifications:  

Interest and/or coursework in technology fields such as data science, analytics, computer science, information systems, or related areas 

Exposure to or strong desire to learn Power BI, Power Apps, SQL, Python, AI/ML tools, or application development frameworks 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complexity 

Ability to communicate ideas effectively (verbal, written, and visual) 

Comfort working in ambiguity and managing multiple assignments 

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships across teams 

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office; bonus if you’ve dabbled in Microsoft Fabric, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), or AI tools 

Ability to commute to various clients across the Twin Cities or Denver metros and work in a hybrid environment
