About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Intern to join our team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools while supporting strategic initiatives across finance, operations, and systems. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, comfortable working with data, and excited about using insights to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards and reports in BI platforms.
- Collect, clean, and analyze datasets to support financial and operational decision-making.
- Support ad-hoc analysis requests from finance, operations, and leadership teams.
- Help document data processes, reporting logic, and key business metrics.
- Partner with team members on ongoing projects, such as automation, systems integration, and data quality initiatives.
- Research and recommend best practices for data visualization and BI tools.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with SQL, Excel, and at least one BI or data visualization tool (coursework or project experience acceptable).
- Basic understanding of databases, data modeling, or ETL processes is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with curiosity and willingness to learn.
