Photographers and Photo Assistants
Hiring for the following Internships:
Lead Photographers, Second Photographers,
Photography Assistants & Photo Editors**

All Photographer Positions:
· Hands-On Training and Learning from Owner/Lead Photographer, Meka McBoat at McBoat Photography
· Learn how to use and take professional photographs with professional-grade photography equipment.
· If you have been already practicing on your own Professional DSLR or Mirrorless Camera, then continue learning with your equipment to perfect Manual Mode with RAW Camera Formats
· Gain Hands-on Client Photography Experience, photographing client’s events and portraits
· Learn to Work with Off-Camera Flashes with diffusers, a Variety of Lenses and Professional Camera Bodies
· Perfect different studio set-ups based on our clients’ unique needs
· You’ll learn how to produce consistent high quality and useable images in RAW formats that our clients love
· You will not need to edit any images unless you want to learn about Photo Editing
· You're not expected to be perfect, but must be able to listen constructively, learn and implement.
· You will need professional all black clothing including pants, shirt/blouse and shoes.
· Must have car or own reliable transportation
· Professional demeanor and appearance

Lead Photographers:
· Photograph events and photography sessions alone or serve as main photographer and onsite client contact when more than one photographer is present
· Responsible for delivering the unedited images to McBoat Photography on the same day of photography
· Lead Photographers will be trained and Shadow Owner/Lead Photographer before going on shoots / photographing events alone.
Second Photographers:
· Photograph events and photography sessions with at least one additional photographer present
· Responsible for delivering the unedited images to McBoat Photography on the same day of photography
· Second Photographers will be trained and Shadow Owner/Lead Photographer before going on shoots / photographing events
Photography Assistants:
· Photography Assistants will be fully trained on all aspects listed below and you will learn the art of client interaction, art direction, and customer service sills (this position is crucial to a successful photography session/event so you will gain firsthand knowledge that will help you succeed at shoots on your own)
· Have ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances
· Must have car or own reliable transportation
· Professional demeanor and appearance
· Ability to learn equipment names, set-up practices and follow instructions
· Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner and to give guidance on clothing, hair and make-up tips to help clients look good at the shoots
· Carry photographer's items to/during shoot
· You will need professional all black clothing including pants, shirt/blouse and shoes.
Photo Editors (Virtual Position):
· Learn directly from Owner/Lead Photographer Meka McBoat, to see how she creates beautiful and unique photographs for her clients
· Learn the basics and some intermediate-level editing skills in Lightroom and Photoshop
· Use real-life client photographs from events and portrait sessions to practice and perfect your editing skills with Meka’s help
· Since this is a virtual position, you will need access to your own personal laptop that will have Adequate Storage Space and Sufficient RAM
· Lightroom & Photoshop Software will be provided to you
· Ability to follow instructions for editing and re-editing images
· Ability to meet timelines
· Efficient editing skills once fully trained
