A Day in the Life of a Website Copywriting Intern
Western & Southern is looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company by assisting our Customer Experience Department in various projects throughout the year. You will be working closely with our team to execute various projects, which include drafting and editing compelling and engaging content for the W&SFG website, as well as helping to improve the customer experience, increase website traffic, and ultimately, generate sales. The intern will work collaboratively with customer experience, user experience, search engine optimization, and content team members.
To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. You will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current campaigns.
Duration of Internship: Summer 2026
Intern Duties and Responsibilities:
• Write and edit content for the company's website and associated marketing materials.
• Research and apply SEO and on-page best practices to web copy to improve visibility on search engines.
• Ensure all written content aligns with the company's brand voice and style guide.
• Work with the marketing and design teams to understand project requirements, create compelling copy, and improve user experience.
Intern Requirements:
• Working toward bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
• Between junior & senior year, preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Some knowledge of SEO and digital marketing techniques.
• Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
