Air Force and Space Force Contract Specialists are the heart of a complex process relying on sound business acumen to deliver innovative and strategic business solutions that include everything from aerospace systems, such as satellites, electronics, and high-performing aircraft deployed directly to the warfighter to commercially available supplies and services necessary for the day-to-day operations of our military installations.
Air Force Contract Specialists are mission-focused business leaders who are at the forefront, leveraging quantitative skill sets to analyze proposals, negotiate, execute, and administer contracts to fly, fight, and win in air, space, and cyberspace.
During your PCIP internship, you will work shoulder to shoulder with current Contract Specialists on challenging and rewarding projects, where you will make real contributions and gain invaluable real-world experience. You may qualify for a full-time position in our PALACE ACQUIRE (PAQ) program once you complete your degree.
PCIP Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- Full-time undergraduate student (sophomore or junior with at least 60 credits) or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business or related fields
- GPA 2.95 or above
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance funded by the Department of the Air Force (e.g., Background check)
PCIP Program Details
- A 10 to 12 week paid summer internship
