Recruitment Consultant - For new graduates and mid-career professionals that are eager to build their careers in Japan

We are looking for an ambitious, self-starting, logical thinking person to join our growing team. Ideally, we are seeking someone with strong interpersonal skills who has the ability to thrive in a fun and challenging environment while adding value to our clients’ human capital.
Our current opening is for an Associate Consultant position.

Responsibilities: 

Candidate Management:

  • Calling and emailing to make appointments
  • Conduct career consultation meetings with candidates to understand their needs
  • Match candidates to jobs
  • Manage the entire recruitment process from job application through offer process (ex. Prepare documents, arrange interviews with clients, negotiate offer details, etc.)

Client Management:

  • Understand the hiring needs of clients
  • Provide consulting solutions to help fulfill client need
  • Develop new clients

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills via email, phone, and in person
  • Bachelors degree*
    *You must have a bachelor's degree to live and work in Japan and this is a requirement.

 

Preferred Skills / Experiences:

  • Research Skills - finding great executive candidates for our clients
  • Consulting Skills - effectively tell the candidate about the client, and the client about the candidate highlighting the fit
  • Sales Skills - this isn't direct sales, but rather consultative sales, you are soft selling throughout the process.  The worst thing we can do is put the wrong person in the wrong job, we don't do that.  But when we do find the right fit, yes, we sell both sides.
