Testimonials from Past Interns:
My time at RTS has been an excellent opportunity for me to reinforce my foundation in the sports industry and I’m extremely grateful for the time I have spent at the facility assisting as a summer intern. My main takeaway from RTS that will bolster my career once I graduate was learning effective marketing strategies and being able to implement these ideas on the RTS Instagram page. Seeing my work bring in new clientele for the facility made me feel like an important part of the staff who had an actual impact on the company, and I can’t keep thanking George for giving me the chance.

My time at Run the Show gave me a number of skills I will take with me into my future
endeavors. The first is hands-on athlete and coach interaction, where I learned how to
communicate effectively with athletes, coaches, and parents alike which will help me in any future sports organization where relationship building is a key to success. Another skill I learned is event coordination. Even though I didn’t help plan the workouts, I was able to observe how to plan, organize, and execute specific activities on schedule, the same skills that are need for managing games, tournaments, or other live events. I also gained valuable skills in adaptability. In sports, no day is ever the same, so being able to view my peer’s adaptability in a sports environment was very beneficial. Finally, I learned some facility management experience.Keeping the facility organized, safe, and clean mirrors the operational work required in large-scale venues.
