Data Analyst Intern - Summer 2026

As an analyst intern on our team, you won’t spend your time stuffing envelopes or getting someone coffee.  Working on projects integral to company success, you’ll expand your problem-solving expertise and communication skills.  Additionally, you’ll work closely with company leaders to provide analytical insight along with a mentor, who will help guide your professional development.

Pricing: You will develop analytical skills and ratemaking knowledge by working with large spreadsheets, databases, and proprietary tools to analyze and implement rate changes. Your insights will help shape pricing strategies and rate decisions that impact our customers. This internship is a pipeline for full time pricing roles.

Actuarial: Gain hands-on experience analyzing historical claims data to develop total cost projections for various business segments. Leverage powerful tools like Python, R, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint to uncover valuable insights and present your findings to business leaders. This internship is designed to equip you for a rewarding career in analytics and Actuarial Science. 

Analyst Development Program: As a summer Analyst in our Analyst Development programs, you'll spend 12 weeks working on projects across our six lines of business and corporate functions, gaining exposure to analysis that drives growth, innovation and strategy. You'll build your skills, network and knowledge, while contributing to initiatives that enhance operations and customer impact. This internship is a pipeline for the 2-year rotational program. 

When: Summer 2026 (May-August)

Where: Remote

Knowledge, skills, and experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study

Preferred skills:

  • Intermediate communication skills, verbal and written, as well as listening and interviewing
  • Intermediate organizational (planning, time management, priority management) and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of SAS, Tableau or other analytical tools, such as Python, R, Google Analytics and SQL 
  • For actuarial internship, must be actively planning for one or more actuarial exam
