What is Endeavor TBD?
Endeavor TBD, LLC (E.TBD) is the operations firm for social enterprise. Clients have a vision for good; are grounded in why, know what, and are asking how–exactly how to get there. We’re all about How. E.TBD provides Implementation, Staffing, Search and Training services operations Advising, Projects, Training and Staffing to businesses and organizations with a purpose beyond profit. We are dedicated to easing the way by supporting smoother operations, deploying simpler technological solutions (i.e. CRM’s and project management systems), and ushering in effective organizational infrastructure.
Intern Overview
The goal of this internship is to support Endeavor TBD’s digital marketing and storytelling efforts in order to amplify our visibility and highlight the impact of our work. The intern will assist with content creation, digital marketing, client testimonial capture, and digital storytelling, while also tracking and analyzing metrics to understand what methods are most effective.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing creative assets such as graphics, slide decks, and social media visuals (Canva, Google Slides, etc.).
- Creating and scheduling content for LinkedIn (primary) and Instagram (secondary), including written posts, graphics, and short videos.
- Capturing and editing client testimonials and project stories in video and written formats.
- Developing blog posts, case studies, and other content for the website.
- Supporting mass communications through newsletters (MailChimp), website updates, and SEO improvements.
- Monitoring social media activity, tracking engagement metrics, and providing recommendations for effective strategies.
- Documenting workflows in SOPs and, at the end of the internship, presenting a summary of projects, outcomes, and recommendations.
This internship offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, communications, and social impact storytelling. Interns will leave with concrete projects for their portfolio and resume, along with real-world skills in amplifying mission-driven organizations.
Qualifications
- Must have excellent writing skills and an amazing design / artistic aesthetic
- Communications and Marketing experience (does not have to be formal)
- Expertise in Google Suite
- Expertise in Canva
- Experience with Video editing
- Be passionate about art, storytelling, community, and diversity
- Independent worker, self-motivated, and organized
- Community-centered, prepared to learn, and have a clear understanding of our work and are committed to our core values
- Skills with Zoom, Loom, ClickUp and social media analytics highly preferred (but, this is an internship, of course, so you’ll have opportunity to learn as you go)
Compensation and About the Role
- The role is Virtual / Hybrid with opportunities to work from home as well as in-office (in downtown Baltimore), at the co-working site (in east Baltimore), and at client sites when needed.
- Expect to complete 10-15 hours per week and interns will be responsible for documenting hours.
- We are estimating that this internship will be for the full semester.
- Compensation will be $17/hour with opportunity for credit hours if approved by your university.
- Target start date would be September.
