
Marketing Assistant
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Marketing Assistant supports the Marketing Department by assisting with electronic marketing, location displays, advertising requests, and administrative tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with social media pages, email marketing, and scheduling electronic marketing displays according to established daily content strategy and calendar.
Work with Blue Crew brand ambassador team to assist in preparing for Bank events.
Attend community and Bank events.
Assists in ensuring brand consistency and tone across all marketing channels.
Updates and maintains collateral materials used in Bank marketing efforts.
Manage shipping and/or delivery of items to markets.
This includes proofing, revising, and some copy writing of collateral, e-mails, and web content produced for internal and external use.
Take notes during marketing meetings to monitor and prepare reports on marketing efforts as needed.
Stay up-to-date relative to industry news, best practices, events, and emerging technologies.
Watches trends that we can leverage to stay topical and reports those to the Marketing Department.
Makes detailed edits to Bank location listings and basic edits to Bank website, advertisements, and other electronic marketing campaigns.
Respond to customer service and printed material requests via e- mail or phone.
Collect and organize data from various sources used in monthly marketing report, research and planning.Performs administrative tasks such as word processing, answering phone calls, processing mail, reconciling invoices, preparing expense reports for department, and filing/scanning.
Assist with media file organization
Assist with photo, video and social media projects as needed
Assist with employee advocacy and engagement platform management and reward redemption.
Assist with design work as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree.
EXPERIENCE GENERAL
12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS PREFERRED
Canva and/or Adobe Experience Preferred
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field could be substituted for an additional 5 years of marketing experience. Experience should include web editing, graphic design, social media, communications, customer service, and/or banking. Must provide Farmers' Advantage Customer Service to all internal and external customers at all times. Should be a tech-oriented individual who is punctual, professional, and organized. Must be a team player.
