Education Programming Assistant

The Down Syndrome of Northeast Ohio is searching for an individual to join our education programming team. This position will be responsible for assisting DSANEO’s Education Director and Lead Instructor in various learning and social experiences provided through our programming opportunities. This person must have a passion for enhancing the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and other disabilities through high quality educational and social experiences. 

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal individual will be pursuing a degree in education, child development, or a related field. They should have effective communication skills, a passion for working with children, and an interest in inclusive and adaptive learning strategies.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Candidates will be selected based on the following:

Demonstrated possession of the qualifications and attributes outlined above.

Positive endorsements from previous supervisors and/or colleagues.

COMPENSATION

The contract will range from 20 to 25 hours monthly, depending on program schedule and planning hours
