Film Production & Post-Production Intern

Film Production & Post-Production Intern
Paid Internship | In-House (Bountiful, UT) | $15–$20/hr

About Us
We’re a Utah-based film production company specializing in documentary-style storytelling. Our work ranges from polished brand films to deeply personal story-driven projects. We’re a small, hands-on team that values creativity, initiative, and storytelling instincts.

About the Role
We’re looking for an intern who isn’t just looking for a line on their résumé — but someone hungry to grow into a serious filmmaker. As an intern, you’ll get real-world experience in both production and post-production, with opportunities to:

Assist on set with camera, lighting, and audio.

Work in post-production (editing, organizing footage, rough cuts, and feedback rounds).

Learn hands-on filmmaking skills in a professional studio environment.

Collaborate directly with experienced filmmakers who want to mentor you — but also expect you to take initiative.

Who We’re Looking For

A current university student (or recent grad) with a strong interest in filmmaking.

Instinct for story, visuals, pacing, and emotion.

Comfortable with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).

Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently when needed.

Most importantly: someone full of potential and ready to grow.

Portfolio Requirement
To be considered, please share examples of your work — this can include short films, editing reels, school projects, or any other video work that shows your storytelling ability and filmmaking instincts. Links (YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, etc.) are preferred.

Location
This role is primarily in-house at our Bountiful, UT studio. We believe the best learning happens hands-on, but there may be opportunities for hybrid work depending on the project.

Compensation
$15–$20 per hour, depending on experience.

Why Join Us
If you’re the right fit, this isn’t just an internship — it’s a chance to build a path toward a long-term filmmaking career. We want to find and invest in someone who could become a core part of our team.
