The Broker Relations team uses tools, analytics, and its deep relationships to incentivize Millennium’s counterparts to provide best in class resources to its investment professionals. Day-to-day, the intern will be leveraging the multiple data sources the PSEM team manages to produce analytics and reports that help drive key business decisions.
Job Responsibilities
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques
- Maintain, enhance, and evolve the existing analytics product suite
- Help with turning data into information, then information into insight and observations, with the goal for our business unit to review the pattern of these observations and use this information when making business decisions.
- Produce ad-hoc infographic business reports to efficiently relay information
- Work with management and clients to understand business requirements
Qualifications/Skills
- High performing students graduating between December 2026 and June 2027 interested in a future career at a top-tier investment firm
- Studying towards a degree with a focus in Computer Science, Statistics or similar Technical Discipline with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above
- Experience using Excel to assist with data analysis (shortcuts, formulas, pivot tables, charts, graphs, VBA)
- Technical and analytical expertise regarding data models, data mining, classification, anomaly detection, and segmentation techniques (using Python/R)
- Detail oriented teammate who is able to prioritize in a fast paced, constantly changing environment to ensure efficient execution
- High degree of operational efficiency, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail
- Good team player with strong willingness to participate and help others
The estimated annual salary for this position is $110,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
