The Business.
Graduate Program Overview:
The CRB Graduate Development Program (GDP) – Risk & Analytics (R&A) is a rotational two-year-program that provides the opportunity to develop a broad knowledge base, varied skills, and diverse network. This program is designed to set you up with a holistic view of CRB with hands-on experience, insight, and opportunities to make an impact and shape your own career.
GDP participants will be immersed in a 1 week in-person orientation followed by a robust onboarding training learning about various functions within CRB. Our program is designed to provide graduates with a well-rounded understanding of the industry while having the opportunity to deep dive within their respective business area.
R&A Risk Insurance Optimization Overview:
As an entry-level Actuarial Strategic Risk Consultant, you will play a key role in producing actuarial loss forecasts to analyze insurance policies and the various risk factors and financial costs associated. You will collaborate with senior actuaries and consultants to develop strategies that align with our clients’ risk management goals. These client portfolios can include the entire insurance spectrum ranging from: Property, Auto Liability, General Liability, Cyber, Financial Liability, and more.
R&A Core Overview:
The Core Analytics team delivers a suite of proprietary risk models that revolutionize the client experience, going beyond broking to unlock potential through effective risk management. Our client service teams use these tools to navigate risk collaboratively and dynamically with our clients. We leverage big data and our own expertise to drive superior outcomes through a strategic view of risk and risk tolerance. Core Analytics empowers WTW clients to take calculated risks.

Responsibilities:
- Core Analytics
- Support the development and maintenance of new and existing models
- Learn and demonstrate proficiency with using and presenting the risk model suite
- Understand the services that Core Analytics provides to the firm
- Research data analysis methods and present findings to the team
- Risk Insurance Optimization
- Assist in the analysis of statistical data to estimate the probability and cost of an event such as property damage, bodily injury, business interruption, or litigation settlement
- Use proprietary models to forecast future liabilities and advise on the financial impact of risk
- Collaborate with brokerage teams and clients to recommend optimized pricing strategies
- Prepare deliverables that explain complex actuarial concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Incorporate industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in actuarial science
Qualifications
Education and Qualifications:
- Able to work legally in the United States indefinitely and without Visa sponsorship
- Date of Graduation between May 2025 – May 2026
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA
- Preferred Majors: Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems; Majors with a strong quantitative background considered
- Passed one or more actuarial exams preferred, but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong technical skills are preferred
Compensation:
The hourly rate being offered for this role is $36.00hr – $40.00hr USD. This role is also eligible for overtime.
