A Brief Overview:
As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting ophthalmologists and other eye care professionals in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various eye conditions. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility and collaborate closely with our eye care team to ensure the best possible patient experience.
What you will do:
- Performing preliminary eye examinations and assessments, including measuring visual acuity, intraocular pressure, pupil reactions, visual field testing refraction, fundus photos, auto refraction, pentacan, and IOL master.
- Obtaining detailed patient medical history, including eye-related complaints, medications, and relevant health information.
- Educating patients on eye care procedures, pre-operative and post-operative instructions.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, test results, and treatment plans in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Performing routine maintenance on ophthalmic equipment and ensure they are in proper working order.
- Collaborating effectively with ophthalmologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive eye care services.
