Legal Intern
The Legal Intern will provide general support services to attorneys and paralegals for Zippo Manufacturing Company, W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company, and Northern Lights Enterprises, Inc. primarily in the area of trademark portfolio maintenance and enforcement, and contract facilitation and management.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Assist attorneys and senior trademark paralegal in trademark-related tasks:
- Identify and report e-commerce marketplace postings of infringing products for enforcement
- Conduct trademark clearance searching before business adopts new marks
- Draft cease and desist letters for trademark enforcement
- Assist in the administration of Company’s contract management system, serving as liaison between the legal department and the employees who require contract drafting and review.
- Assemble, revise and manage routine/basic contracts using templates and other guides
- Organize and maintain documents in legal department electronic filing systems
- Assist attorneys and other legal department staff with assigned legal/compliance projects
Education and Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in paralegal studies or a related field
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- An eye for detail
- Willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
