Operations Management Development Program - July 2026
Precision Castparts Corp.’s Development Programs are powering the future by taking the emergent talent through a high velocity two-year rotational program complete with learning experiences and opportunities to prepare you for leadership in operations management within our manufacturing facilities. This program is specifically designed for graduating seniors or recent graduates. This position will be in various locations and starts July 2026.

Program Design
Our 2-year program is designed to build capable operations leaders through immersive, hands-on experience. From day one, participants gain a comprehensive understanding of how our business runs—learning every process, system, and team dynamic that drives operational success. You'll develop critical leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills while working alongside experienced professionals. Each year rotation follows the same structure—beginning with a deep-dive immersion and transitioning into a supervisory role—but Year Two takes place at a more complex facility, often with broader scope and larger teams to manage, offering an elevated leadership challenge.
- Months 1–4: Deep-dive immersion—shadow every department, learn the full process, and connect with employees to understand real challenges. Drive improvements in safety, quality, cost, productivity and other key metrics through impactful projects.
- Month 5-12: Step into a full Operations Supervisor role with direct responsibility for people, performance, and outcomes. You’ll own key metrics across safety, quality, throughput, cost, productivity, and team development—with real impact from day one.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field such as: Operations or Industrial Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Systems, Engineering Management, Engineering or related degree.
- Prior co-op or internship experience in a manufacturing environment
- Club, organization or activity involvement in a leadership capacity
- Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule, including the ability to work outside standard business hours as needed to meet business or project demands
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle high stress associated with high activity, tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to exercise time management and prioritization skills
- High level of interest in management, operations roles
- Must be a US Persons*
- Must be willing to relocate (program roles located in US only)
