Tradeshow Display Fabricator/Carpenter

PFI Displays is a family owned and operated company that produces custom designed displays, tradeshow exhibits, and commercial interiors. We strive to provide flawless execution with our radical attention to detail and exceptional craftmanship.

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Fabricate displays and exhibits from a variety of materials (wood, laminates, plastics, metal, graphics).
  • Read detail drawings/blueprints to fabricatecustom components.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and saws.
  • Operate shop machinerysuch as forklift and scissor lift.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workingenvironment.
  • Work in an efficient manner to ensure that all deadlines are met.
  • Build crates for shippingtradeshow components.
  • Conduct quality checks on outsourced components.
  • Pack tradeshow components for shipping and complete shippingpaperwork.
  • Occasional travel to trade shows for site supervision of installation and dismantle.
  • Assemble and fabricate modular exhibit systems.

 

Thetradeshow display fabricator position is a full-time hourly position with a great benefits package including: paid time off, medical,401k, profit sharing,and company outings.Typical work scheduleis 8:00-4:30 Monday through Friday with periodicovertime and weekendsas needed. PFI utilizes a wide varietyof materials in our manufacturing including wood, metal and plastics. This requires our employees tobe versatile but also provides for significant variety in the workplace, so you're not stuck doing the same duties and functions every day.

  • Must be able to read CAD drawings

  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Safety management mindset

 

 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in manufacturing/construction/remodelingor similar industry
  • Woodworking experience (beneficial but not required)
  • Some travel is required for off-site product intallations
