Restaurant Manager

Job description

Embark on a dynamic career path as a Restaurant Manager. You will be responsible for managing the operations of a single store, including hiring, directing, and developing associates to achieve financial goals and ensure exceptional guest experiences. We offer a comprehensive 8-week (or more) store leadership training program to equip you with the skills needed to excel and advance within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Management: Oversee all aspects of store operations, including hiring, managing, and directing associates to achieve financial targets and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Recruiting Top Talent: Identify and hire high-caliber managerial candidates.
  • Training and Development: Develop and enhance the skills of your team through ongoing training and support.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional service, high-quality food, and a friendly atmosphere to build and maintain the brand's reputation.
  • Financial Performance: Achieve sales growth, manage costs, and drive profitability.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Support Center to implement strategies for operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Management Team Responsibilities:

  • People Management: Recruit, train, coach, and develop your team members.
  • Guest Relations: Ensure food quality, service excellence, and associate friendliness.
  • Financial Management: Focus on driving sales, managing expenses, and enhancing profit margins.
  • Kitchen Management: Maintain food safety standards, manage inventory, place orders, and oversee food preparation and cooking.
  • Operations Management: Uphold cleanliness, safety standards, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Training and Support:

You will participate in an extensive 8-week (or more) store leadership training program, designed to prepare you for effective store management and long-term career success.

Eligibility Requirements:

Candidates must meet and continue to meet eligibility requirements for each benefit to qualify.

Required Background & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of one to two years of operations experience.
  • Flexibility: Must be willing to relocate to a store within a 50-mile radius and work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
  • Certification: Serve Safe certified in Food Safety.

ADA Statement:

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited, and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
