About Us

Stoney Creek Mushrooms is an award-winning, local farm-to-table indoor mushroom farm specializing in organic and gourmet mushrooms and microgreens. We proudly serve restaurants throughout Southeast Michigan and Northern Ohio. As our business continues to flourish and expand, we're seeking a dedicated sales representative to build relationships with chefs in the Cleveland market.

Position Overview

This is an excellent entry-level, relationship-based sales position focused on connecting independent restaurants with our premium organic mushrooms and microgreens. You'll work directly with chefs and restaurant owners to introduce our products and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent Stoney Creek Mushrooms professionally while providing excellent customer service
• Educate customers about our gourmet mushrooms, microgreens, and their culinary applications
• Deliver on our brand promise: "giving customers incredible organic gourmet mushrooms and microgreens, with amazing customer service"
• Provide product samples, recipes, and pricing information to potential customers
• Focus primarily on independent restaurants using our provided target list
• Maintain accurate and timely sales documentation
• Support customers through menu development and food cost analysis
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers

Requirements

Essential:

• Reliable personal vehicle for sales calls (company expense card provided)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Clean, valid driver's license
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent service
• Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude
• Availability Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work as needed

Preferred:

• Prior sales experience (but not required - we provide training!)
• Interest in or knowledge of gourmet food and culinary applications
