Marketing Intern for Real Estate Agent
Boutique real estate business in Austin specializing in high-end and unique properties. We love creative marketing, storytelling through video, and delivering an exceptional client experience. We’re looking for a savvy, detail-oriented, and creative student to join our team and help us bring our marketing to the next level.
Position Overview
This role is perfect for a student who loves content creation, social media trends, and hands-on marketing. You’ll work directly with the lead realtor on everything from filming property tours to creating Instagram Reels, sending eblasts, designing branded materials, and dreaming up memorable client gifts.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation: Film and edit short-form videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok), take listing photos, and create engaging property spotlights.
Social Media Management: Schedule and post content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Email Marketing: Design and send eblasts/newsletters to our client database using tools like Mailchimp or Canva.
Brand Development: Help create and refine our marketing templates, listing presentations, and branded collateral.
Client Experience: Assist with brainstorming, sourcing, and assembling custom client gifts.
Marketing Support: Research trends, assist with property staging days, attend photoshoots, and provide general creative support.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms (bonus if you follow real estate or design creators).
Comfortable filming and editing videos (Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere preferred).
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator).
Strong communication and organization skills.
Self-starter with a creative mindset and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Details
Location: Austin, TX (some tasks may be remote, but filming/content creation will be in-person).
Hours: 8–12 hours/week (flexible with class schedule).
Pay: $18–$22/hour depending on experience.
Start Date: Flexible — ideally within the next month.
