LeaderTreks is a student leadership development ministry passionate about equipping the next generation of church and world leaders. Through transformative mission trip experiences, we challenge students to grow in Christlike character and leadership. By giving them real responsibilities and the freedom to make decisions—and learn from them—we help students become confident, faith-driven leaders. Our mission is to serve youth workers and empower students to become disciples who lead.
Position: Impact Team Member (Summer Missions Internship)
Location: Based out of our West Chicago, IL, office, with travel across the U.S. and potential international trips to Costa Rica.

The Impact Team Internship is more than a summer job—it’s a ministry experience that will stretch you, grow you, and prepare you for a lifetime of leadership. As part of our summer staff, you’ll help lead mission trips that disciple middle and high school students, encouraging them to step into their calling as leaders and followers of Jesus.
Over the course of 9 life-changing weeks, you’ll serve alongside a passionate team, invest deeply in students, and be mentored by experienced ministry leaders. If you're looking for a summer filled with purpose, adventure, and spiritual growth, this internship is for you.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Impact Team Member, you will:
- Participate in an immersive staff training trip over Memorial Day Weekend
- Build intentional, Christ-centered relationships with students
- Foster a spiritually challenging environment that encourages student growth
- Teach and model leadership principles through real-time experiences
- Support your Trip Leader in logistics, including food planning and work project oversight
- Commit to daily self-evaluation and goal setting for personal and spiritual growth
- Debrief and celebrate the summer with the LeaderTreks staff during our end-of-summer retreat
