Job Summary
Marble Lotus is seeking a creative and dependable videographer / video editor freelancer located in or near San Francisco (SFO) who can come into our California showroom on a weekly basis to capture and produce high‑quality video content. This role is part‑time (5-6 hours/week), paying US $50/hour, and requires the intern to bring their own camera and shooting gear.

Responsibilities

  • Film in showroom at our San Francisco location 1 × weekly (2-3 hours total)
  • Shoot both b‑roll and interview‑style video of interior spaces, products, and ambience
  • Organize, edit, and deliver polished short‑form videos (0:30 seconds –2 minutes), ready for social media and promotional use
  • Coordinate with our marketing team to plan shoots and storyboard content
  • Manage footage file organization and deliverables on schedule
  • Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to brainstorm, storyboard, and script short-form and long-form video content.
  • Film product showcases, behind-the-scenes content, showroom scenes, and promotional materials.
  • Edit video content using industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) to deliver polished final cuts.
  • Assist in content strategy for social media platforms, with attention to trends and platform-specific formats.
  • Support logistics for shoots—scheduling, lighting, equipment setup/tear-down.
  • Participate in creative review meetings and adapt edits based on feedback

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or graduated from college/film/communications/design with relevant coursework or experience in videography and editing
  • Demonstrated portfolio of video work (Instagram reels, YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)
  • Owns and can bring their own video camera, tripod, and editing workstation/software (e.g. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve)
  • Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling, and organization skills
  • Reliable transportation or ability to commute to SFO showroom weekly
  • Experience filming in indoor/interior environments using natural and artificial lighting
  • Basic audio recording with lavalier or shotgun mics
  • Prior work on promotional, architectural, or retail video content
  • Hungry to get experience in a startup environment and apply your film and creative abilities to projects and organizations that are changing the world
  • Great entrepreneurial spirit and creative mindset with strong initiative and analytical abilities
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment, prioritize objectives and switch projects fluidly
  • Interested in what it takes to run a successful video production firm or in a career as a freelance marketing, video or social media strategist in the SF Bay area
  • Excellent professional script-writing and storytelling skills
  • Digital media savvy and experienced with new digital technologies
  • Creative video and film and photography experience required (must be versed in all aspects of short film creation; pre-production to shooting, editing and post-production)
