Interim Marketing & Website Manager

About the role

We’re looking for a strategic and detail oriented Interim Marketing & Website Manager to continue to lead growth and enhance the shopping experience for our Good Store brand here at DFTBA.

This is a full-time, fixed-term role beginning in October 2025 and continuing through December 2026 providing interim coverage for a current role. The work is underway and we're seeking someone who can step in seamlessly to continue driving growth for Good Store, including site optimization, audience development, and product expansion.

Good Store is home to intentionally sourced everyday products—designed to delight, built to last, and committed to doing good. With 100% of profits donated to high-impact charities, we're growing fast: expanding our audience, product lines, and impact. As we build toward that future, we need a smart, hands-on Marketing & Website Manager who can drive performance while staying grounded in our values.

As the Interim Marketing & Website Manager, you and your team, comprised of the Product Specialist, will own the end-to-end customer experience, from first click to doorstep delivery. You'll lead digital marketing strategy, manage our e-commerce site, and collaborate across departments to bring new products to market. Whether you're optimizing the website for conversion, creating a new customer journey, or finding creative ways to move excess inventory, your work will be essential to our ability to do more good in the world.

You’ll partner closely with the Good Store team to ensure every campaign, launch and customer interaction if not only effective, but joyful and reflects our mission to decrease world suck.

What you'll do

  • Own and manage the Good Store e-commerce site, ensuring a seamless, optimized, and on-brand experience across all pages, listings, and customer touch points.
  • Create newsletters, blogs, and social media content, and partner with tools (e.g., customer reviews) and the Customer Service team to maintain a two-way conversation with customers efficiently at scale.
  • Develop and execute data-informed marketing strategies that drive growth—through customer retention, product launches, email marketing, SEO, social media, and paid advertising.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to lead the marketing timeline and execution for all product launches, ensuring alignment between digital content, inventory availability, and operational logistics.
  • Analyze customer behavior, campaign performance, and sales trends to continuously improve conversion rates, drive profitable growth, and inform future campaigns and product decisions.
  • Manage seasonal and evergreen marketing campaigns across channels, ensuring creative consistency and clear communication of our brand mission and product value.
  • Direct and supervise the Product Specialist to identify and launch new products, incorporating customer feedback, market trends, and mission alignment.
  • Foster a customer-first mindset, maintaining an ongoing feedback loop through reviews, surveys, and social engagement—and turn insights into action.
  • Support and strengthen Good Store’s values-driven brand voice across every message, from blog posts to packaging copy to transactional emails.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce marketing, website management, or digital campaign execution, ideally within a consumer products or retail environment.
  • Proficiency with Shopify and key Shopify apps (e.g., ReCharge, Okendo), as well as email marketing tools (e.g. Klaviyo), social platforms, and basic SEO principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and translate them into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and customer lifecycle marketing.
  • Familiarity with creative tools like Canva to create on-brand, high-quality content across marketing channels.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills; able to juggle multiple priorities and keep teams aligned.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and brand consistency.
  • A passion for customer experience, creative problem-solving, and values-driven business.
  • Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment or with collective bargaining agreements is a plus, but not required.
