Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall service experience of members visiting or calling a LOC Branch location. The Branch Manager takes ownership for growing the business at their assigned branch. This includes but is not limited to:
- Demonstrate a strong desire to grow participation in the Credit Union
- Assert leadership and mentoring skills
- Coaches and mentors team members to develop or enhance their service and sales skills in order to provide the best member experience and to promote individual growth and development
- Coordinates the activities and duties of the branch staff so that the necessary personnel meet and exceed the needs of the members
- Responsible for ensuring that the branch's operational needs are met including but not limited to cash ordering, ATM functionality, branch maintenance needs, staff scheduling, equipment and security
- Perform transactions and meet with members as required in order to maintain and support desired service levels
- Consistently and effectively motivates staff members to educate members regarding Credit Union products and services
- Work collaboratively with Human Resources in recruiting, documenting disciplinary measures, creating performance improvement plans and conducting employment terminations as required.
- Coaches staff and conduct evaluations to determine that duties and responsibilities are being performed accurately, efficiently, and timely and that goals are being met
- Serves as a Loan Officer (as appointed)
- Monitors and ensures the adherence of the branch staff, to the Credit Union's policies and procedures
- Consistently adhere to the Leadership Code and Expectations
