Full-Time | Salary: $58,128 – $105,557 Annually

The Los Angeles County Office of the Assessor will be accepting applications for the Appraiser / Real Property position starting August 19 at 8:00AM. This is your opportunity to enter the world of real property appraisal through a paid, one-year Appraiser Trainee Certification Program (ATCP).

What You’ll Do:
- Participate in a one-year appraisal training and certification program
- Learn industry-standard valuation methods (cost, sales comparison, income)
- Conduct on-site inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties
- Analyze property data and research market trends
- Interface with the public and testify at Assessment Appeals Board hearings
- Prepare assessments and contribute to public service excellence
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- A valid California Class C Driver License
Work Where You Learn & Grow
Your training will begin at the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration in downtown Los Angeles, just steps from Grand Park, top museums, restaurants, and major transit. Field placements may include locations across the County including Signal Hill, Sylmar, Beverly Hills, Lancaster, and more.
